Kodak E100VS vs. Velvia 100

The above shot was taken on my voigtlander Bessa R, with the 15mm heliar I believe. Used Kodak E100 slide film and had it cross processed. It’s taken out the back door of a canal boat on a family trip taken almost 3 years ago.

Unlike the I usually shoot, Kodak E100G has far more natural colors. Velvia is wild, while for people I found E100G for more pleasant. Velvia has never been for people photos.

Yay! You're now following kodak e100 in your .

Kodak E100 G @ 200 ISO Cross processed at box speed

Kodak E100VS is my favorite slide film for scenery. The reds and greens just jump off the screen! In this film Kodak has pumped up the color saturation and contrast for a color balance that is very snappy. Use this film when you want better than life color. This is a great film for things and natural places but not if your main subject is people as the skin tones are on the red side
